About

The Village Hall has been in Existence since 1921 and became a Charitable trust in 1964.

The hall has been re-decorated as well as modernized and an extension added. Read more about the hall on the Facilities Page.

The hall is run by a committee of Trustees who are answerable to the Charity Commission for the good governance of the hall.

The Charity Trustees are unpaid volunteers. We are always looking for volunteers to join the committee – get in touch for more information.

River Village Hall Committee Meetings take place monthly except in August and December. The AGM is in April.

If you wish to join the committee you will be a trustee and will be assisting with running the hall which exists for the benefit of the community.
